True Spanish paella is difficult to find in New York City. At Café Espanol, your biggest problem will be which paella you are in the mood for. Cooking done with saffron, paprika and other Spanish spices ensures that there are plenty of flavors in all of the dishes at Café Espanol. Really poor substitute for the real thing. Ample portion but no taste. Very very dissapointing.

I live across the street and always go there whenever I feel like real good seafood. Their mariscada and paella are awesome - delicious and the portion is big enough for two meals!
